e-Way Bill – Registration and Generation – A Step-by-Step Guide

If you’re transporting goods within India whose value is typically more than Rs.50,000, you need to generate an e-way bill before initiating the delivery process. The GST council has made this eway bill generation mandatory for all GST-registered businesses and enrolled transporters. According to this, the person carrying the goods must carry a copy of eway bill while delivering goods more than the specified value.

Even before generating an e-way bill, you first need to register in the eway bill portal. This page helps you with the eway bill registration process, eway bill generation process, eway bill download, eway bill print and all other important information related to eway registration and generation. If you’re an unregistered transporter, the detailed guide for transporter enrolment is also discussed. Different methods to generate eway bill including eway bill generation on eway bill portal, eway bill generation on einvoice portal are also included.
