Once you set up the invoice for your customers using the ‘Automated Billing’ feature, the software will take care of the rest. All you need to do is sit back and relax while your business account gets credited every month. <\/span>\u2018Automated Billing\u2019 Feature of myBillBook<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n

Automated Billing is one of the most functional features offered by myBillBook billing software. This feature allows you to generate recurrent or repeating invoices within the myBillBook application. If you have a customer or party whom you need to bill regularly for the same service or product, Automated Billing can automatically send a similar invoice each month on the designated date. This means that you won’t have to manually create and send invoices each month, and you can forget about the task of sending invoices altogether.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span>Step-by-Step Guide to Use Automate Billing Feature<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n

  1. Login to myBillBook application<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. From the navigation bar, find the \u2018Automated Bills\u2019 option under \u2018Accounting Tools\u2019<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Select the \u2018Automated Bills\u2019 option, and a new page will appear on the right screen.<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Click on the \u2018Create Automated Invoice\u2019 option.<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. The \u2018Create Automated Sales Invoice\u2019 screen will appear.<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. Select the party or customer by clicking on the \u2018+Add Party\u2019 option.<\/span><\/li>\n
  7. Then, enter the \u2018Start Date\u2019 from when we wish to start billing for this particular party.<\/span><\/li>\n
  8. Then select the \u2018End date\u2019 – till when we need to bill this party\/customer. If you would like to send invoices for three months, enter the last month’s date in the \u2018End date\u2019 field.<\/span><\/li>\n
  9. Next in the \u2018Repeat Every\u2019 field, you can select days\/weeks\/months\/years. This defines the frequency in which you wish to send the invoice. For instance, if you wish to send the invoice every month, you can enter 1 in the blank and select \u2018Month\u2019 from the drop-down.<\/span><\/li>\n
  10. The next field is \u2018Payment Terms\u2019. If you\u2019re allowing credit for the selected party, you can enter the credit period, say 15 or 30 days, or whichever is applicable, in this field.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  11. Next, you need to add the item for which you wish to bill this party on a recurring basis. You can do it by clicking on the \u2018+Add Item\u2019 field.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  12. Review all other fields like \u2018Additional Charges\u2019, \u2018Discounts\u2019, \u2018Notes, \u2018Bank Details\u2019, etc.<\/span><\/li>\n
  13. Review all the details and click on \u2018Save\u2019 to create the recurring invoice.<\/span><\/li>\n
  14. The first invoice will be sent to the party on the start date, and invoices will be sent on the set frequency.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    [\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Once you set the Automated Bills, you can see the status of all the recurring invoices in the automated bills dashboard.\u00a0 You can select any automated bill to edit\/stop\/pause the invoice. Do note that once an Automated Invoice is stopped, you cannot resume it. To resume any invoice, you need to pause it.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    In the \u2018Automated Bills Dashboard\u2019, you will find three statuses – Paused, Stopped, and Active. You can filter the sorting according to the status of the automated invoice.
